After a failed return trip to Cuba for work, Jacob Claude McLain (1905-1988) and Sina LaRue Crook (1906-1994) bought this large home near the prison in Mt. Pleasant NC. During the time they lived here, their daughter Gloria was living with them with her two kids Benny & Diana. She was living here when she met Alvin Nash.
